Wild Rosemary (Conradina canescens) is a perennial shrub.  it is a member of the mint family and may grow up to 2-3 feet tall and wide.  Plant it in full sun in a location with dry to very dry sandy soil.  This is a drought tolerant plant.  Lavender flowers will bloom March through November.   Wild rosemary is sometimes referred to as false rosemary to distinguish it from the herb rosemary.  While its leaves are edible, it has a minty aroma when crushed.  This plant is a great source of nectar.
