The wine fly is not a type of butterfly, but this company sells cosmetics to women, so I took an unconventional and more delicate approach -- a simple mark with butterfly wings with grapes to represent wine as the body. Italics are not commonly used in logo design, but in this case it conveys movement (of the butterfly in flight) and relates in a lovely and elegant way to the mark.

I first sketch the design in paint tool sai. After the sketch, I then exported the design as psd and then imported it into the adobe illustrator for vectoring process. After the lines and shapes are completed, I then begin to add the colors and shades to the design.

It is a well educated public very aware of health and the preservation of the environment. I started from the idea to combine different letters to refer to beauty in different shapes and sizes of organic fruits. I was inspired also by a client color choices (pink, gold-which she modified afterward) and initials from the old books. I'm still not satisfied with the detail at the top and the bottom of the initials and some more things need to be brushed up.

The target audience will be mixed, I don't know at this stage, however, i am happy for the brand to be feminine as this is what both men and women need on an energetic level. Whether they are a CEO, artist, professional or a stay at home mum, the freer they are from life’s and society’s conditioning to dance to the pulse of your own rhythm, the more connected to life they will feel. It is about helping them to find the seed of life again by firstly understanding their nature of the mind, then from this space creating endless opportunities and seeing the connection of all things.

The Cinderella Foundation provides Cosmetology and Business Training to the women in Sierra Leone.
