Vintage Shadowline unworn Deadstock shapewear high rise long girdle panty with girdle loops at front and back so this high rise panty can also be used as a garter or stocking holder in a size Small. This came in a huge lot I got when I purchased deadstock items from Shadowline from their inventory reductions and closure of their facility in North Carolina. Most of these night gown pieces had inventory tags showing when these were made. I got two of these girdle pieces - one in large and one in small. This listing is for the size SMALL. This does not have the original tags - but this is a deadstock, unworn girdle in Perfect vintage condition with NO issues. There are NO content tags or information tags inside, as were most of the garments made before 1970's. This does not have place of making (it was USA) or contents, which is certainly a nylon and spandex blend. Lots of stretch to this garment. The crotch is not lined. The color of this a creamy off white color. This is a longer style girdle - going almost to the knee. The garter attachments are hidden on the inside of the girdle. The garter attachments can easily be removed if desired. The tag inside shows: Shadowline Size S (for large) This has 3 removable suspender style garter attachments - 2 at back and one at front for use with nylon stockings if desired. You can also remove the hook attachments with a glide out tab so this could be worn as shapewear only. This shows a size SMALL. This is from the 1960's and I think would best fit a XS to Small today. Vintage 60's Size Large The waist measures 7 1/2 inches across laid flat - so doubled is 15 inches. This will stretch out to 13 inches - so about 26 inches on waist. The rise on this is 10 1/2 inches. The leg openings are elastic and measure 6 1/2 inches (or 13 inches) when not stretched. Outside measurement - long almost to knee is 14 1/2 inches The body of this is nylon and spandex - so there is a lot of give in this shapewear panty. CONDITION: This is a deadstock NOS item, without tags. It was used as an inventory item at the Shadowline Factory and has never been used. It comes to you in excellent vintage condition. Remember, this is an 1960's piece and 1960's sizing. I would size down to a XS and no larger than a small on this piece as vintage sizing and modern sizing are NOT the same.
