***This is a custom order for fully boned, 3-layer, romantic floral cotton pair of strapless stays, circa 1750.***Construction time from the day you place your order is 4-6 weeks. 👗Options: • no Lining - meaning the stays are as pictured and described with 3 layers of cotton fabric • with Lining - meaning you opt for a 4th cotton layer that fully covers the interior for additional cost of $20 🎀After placing your order, I will reach out and guide you through the custom measurement process to get the best fit for your new stays.   Description: Elegant front tab tapering creates a beautiful conical princess shape in these circa 1725-1770 pair of back lacing, strapless stays. These stays are composed of 9 pattern panel pieces that allow nice movement when it comes to terms of 18th century middle class clothing. They are fully boned and provide body support as well as they adjust to your body movements and curves over time. Romantic pale pink floral print cotton canvas outer layer is just delicious to the eye in the way the fabric was cut to allow a harmonious transition of the flower blossoms, leaves, and berries. As was custom in the 1700s, the tabs, seams, and top of the stays are lined with leather - blush pink suede. The leather edging is slashed on the inside to reduce bulkiness. The seams are flat open and stitched down on the inside. Synthetic boning throughout lays perfectly ergonomically with a slight outwards curve. The boning and shape of the stays will adjust to your body. Back offset spiral lacing with champagne colored satin laces. • 1725 - 1770 era• strapless • fully boned (synthetic boning)• back lacing• offset spiral lacing • 3-layers of cotton• fully hand sewn (except machine stitched boning channels)• leather edged• leather covered seams• hand stitched eyelets• original Lux Vivens pattern drape Fiber content: 100% cotton exclusive of trim; leather suede trim Care instructions: spot clean, lay flat to dry.
