Ukrainian residents in Portugal hold national flags and stand behind two hundred and forty pairs of children's shoes are on display in Praça do Comercio in memory of the prematurely killed Ukrainian children while demonstrators ask people to sign an electronic petition stating "Let's help stop the murders, crimes and atrocities committed by Russian soldiers against children in Ukraine," during "#SaveUkrainianChildren" civil action on June 04 in Lisbon, Portugal. Students from Ukrainian schools in Lisbon read poems and sung songs in support of Ukrainian children during the action. The aim of this international event, taking place in several cities, is to draw the attention of the international community, citizens and rulers to the plight of thousands of children in Ukraine.
