This is a gorgeous and rare girdle piece from the early 1900s! The material is a gorgeous peach brocade that almost gives a sheen to it. Very Luxurious. This is truly a very RARE find. Condition: This NuBone corset is over 100 years old and STILL in excellent condition. There are no rips, no stains, no loose parts and no odors. It’s as if this suit has stayed in a drawer it’s entire life. Beautifully preserved with all original parts. These fabulous NuBone corsets were not sold in stores. Instead, these pieces were custom made - NuBone “Corsetieres” met with women from the comfort of their own homes and measured their figures. From there, an expert NuBone designer would build a corset specifically for that woman, which gave women a more graceful figure and a more comfortable fit. Features of this fabulous suit include: * Adjustable and removable straps (straps are attached with buttons) * Woven wire boning throughout * Hook and latch closure on the side of the corseted area and hook and latch closure in front on the bottom (girdle) area. * Long lace ties up the center of the girdle come together with stretchy, elastic ties at the bottom of the girdle. * Bra area is a demi cup with semi sheer tan ecru handmade Alencon French lace. * 4 metal garters with “NuBone” hallmark on metal. *** Please see pictures as they are part of description. We can also send additional pictures upon request. We believe the bra area is a size 34C (model shown has 34DD bust and this definitely fit a bit small on top). Measurements while laying flat: Arm pit to arm pit: 17” and can stretch to 18” Over center bust: 17” (not counting the room in the demi cups) Directly under the bust: 15.5” Waist: 15.5” Hips: 16”-20” depending on how tightly laced (Model shown has a 44” hips and couldn’t get the lace all the way closed) Length: 32” give or take a few inches depending on strap adjustment.
